La cinta aspira a hacerse con las estatuillas al mejor actor (Michael Keaton), mejor actor de reparto (Edward Norton), mejor actriz de reparto (Emma Stone) y mejor elenco.
Según informa BBC Mundo, le siguen con tres nominaciones cada una el relato sobre el paso a la edad adulta "Boyhood" y las cintas biográficas "The Imitation Game", sobre Alan Turing y "The Theory of Everything", sobre Stephen Hawking.
El premio al mejor actor se lo disputarán, además de Keaton, Steve Carell ("Foxcatcher"), Benedict Cumberbatch ("The Imitation Game"), Jake Gyllenhaal ("Nightcrawler) y Eddie Redmayne ("The Theory of Everything").
Por su lado, las aspirantes a major actriz son Jennifer Aniston ("Cake"), Felicity Jones ("The Theory of Everything"), Julianne Moore ("Still Alice"), Rosamund Pike ("Gone Girl") y Reese Witherspoon ("Wild").
